Master cake baker, Buddy Valastro of TLC's "Cake Boss", demonstrates the making of some of his bakery's most popular cakes.

    "Mod Squad" Cake

    1. Follow the recipes to the right to bake and cover the cake in purple fondant.
    2. After the cake has been covered in fondant, roll out various other colors – green, yellow, purple and chocolate.
    3. Using scalloped fondant cutters cut out various sizes from the colored fondant and circles from the chocolate fondant.
    4. Steam one area of the cake and place the circles in-side of one another and finish by placing a chocolate dot in the middle.

    "Snow Day" Cake

    1. Follow the recipes to the right to bake and cover the cake in light blue fondant.
    2. Using the same technique roll out white fondant.
    3. Using a snowflake press – press out some snowflakes and put aside.
    4. Using a paintbrush and some iridescent edible paint you can be lightly paint around and make some of the blue fondant "pop".
    5. Steam the desired areas and attach the snowflakes to the cake.
    6. Use crystal sugar to put the finishing touches on as you see fit.

    "Take a Bow" Cake

    1. Follow the recipes to the right to bake and cover the cake in pink fondant.
    2. Roll out chocolate fondant and using circle cutters cut out 3 different sizes, set aside.
    3. Using the same colored fondant and a strip cutter - cut a strip of about 5 to 6 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide.
    4. Fold the strip so the ends meet in the middle.
    5. Cut a strip about 2-3 inches long and wrap around the other strip to make the "knot" in the bow tie.

    "Here Comes the Sun" Cake

    1. Follow the recipes to the right to bake and cover the cake in sage green fondant.
    2. Start with white buttercream (follow the recipe to the right) and add in yellow food dye until the right color is attained.
    3. Scoop in buttercream into piping bag with number 69 or 70 tip already attached.
    4. Pipe each leaf separately going around to create the overall sunflower design.
    5. Use chocolate/brown icing to create the center of the flower.

    "Fall for Me" Cake

    1. Follow the recipes to the right to bake and cover the cake in ivory fondant.
    2. Place chocolate fudge into a piping bag with a number 4 tip already attached.
    3. Pipe branches onto the cake.
    4. Once again, roll out fondant (like before) and using a leaf press, stamp out various designs.
    5. Using an airbrush and some iridescent colors – spray onto the leaves to make them "pop".
    6. Attach the leaves onto the ends of the branches by steaming the cake and applying.
